We enjoyed ourselves at this local restaurant. It was our first time eating there. Savanna, our server, was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu items. Our food was tasty and well prepared. We plan to visit the next time we're in town.
Okay so pour was an amazing experience! First of all, Madison was an amazing server, was very attentive, and recommended the bravas brussels with my Mahi Mahi. We ordered the duck empanadas for our appetizer. My friend had the seared tuna with green beans and potatoes au gratin. The food was very flavorful and fresh. This is my boyfriend and I’s second time visiting this restaurant and it is easily one of our favorites.
Come try the new special only at Pour! Chef Jay-son has Poured his heart out with each endeavor in life leading up to this spectacular braised short ribs mushroom ragu, almond pesto pasta. Otherwise known simply as heaven. Staff is beyond friendly as well as accommodating! Rudy will be sure to keep you laughing and drinks full!
Amazing dining and bar place in lafayette. During my stay in Louisiana Lafayette, I had fine-dined out there two times. My experience was amazing! The food and drinks were fantastic. This place is a bit crowded but still, the server managed to serve right. We had Duck Empanada (Flaky pastry filled with roasted duck, cheese, onion, and Creole sauce); Crab Cake (Lump crab cakes served with lemon dill aioli); Grilled Mahi-Mahi (Mahi-mahi lightly seasoned then grilled open flame. Topped with tomato jam. Served with Brussels sprouts)and Cobb Salad (Romaine lettuce, bacon, egg, tomato, avocado, and blue cheese crumbles. Served with honey mustard). All the dishes were absolutely tasty and well presented.
I think I found a hidden gem in Lafayette. My dear friend wanted to bring me out to celebrate my birthday. We drove from Alexandria la to Lafayette today. We walked in, and a server said we could find an empty seat. We were greeted by our server and ordered drinks and appetizers. My drinks were a coke and an espresso martini. My espresso was made to perfection. Our appetizers were the BBQ BACON WRAPPED SHRIMP..... Bacon wrapped shrimp in a savory NOLA style butter BBQ sauce which was delicious. We also ordered the BRISKET FRIES. Smoked brisket, pepperjack, cheddar, Cajun BBQ, chipotle aioli, and green onion. I swear those cheese fries were the best cheese fries I've ever eaten in my entire natural born life. Wow wow wow. I sat in shock about how good they were. We ordered our entrees I ordered the GRILLED CHICKEN BREAST...... Chargrilled chicken breast,', with grilled veggie medley and roasted fingerling potatoes. It was so delicious. My friend ordered the REDFISH VERMILION. Grilled redfish topped with crawfish etoufee, served with chargrilled asparagus. I tasted some of her dish. It was yummy as well. Our server was nice and kind and treated us well as he maintained the bar. The atmosphere was laid back and it seemed everyone enjoyed being there. It was our first time and we definitely will be back.
Amazing experience from the moment I walked in. Great place for conversations with delicious drink options. The tapas will not disappoint you either.
Food and drinks were good, but our Server was PHENOMENAL! Her name is Delaney. I ordered the Wildfire (drink) , Chicken Crackling, and Apple Pecan Salad add shrimp.
On 6/13/20, I came to this eatery for the first time. I think the crab cakes are the best that I have tasted in a while. The tartar sauce made the crab cakes that much more dynamic! (Some YUMMY STUFF!) A Big Shout Out goes to our Waiter Devin! He made sure that everyone was taken care of...even with a big service load. It literally looked like he was doing several tasks. In spite of doing the job of maybe 3 people, he still managed to maintain a great rapport with patrons and didn't seem to break a sweat or look pressured.
